brilliant conclusion....you got anything for rushmen?
yeah. It's a sign and also a term for guys that rush the QB. THAT IS WHY WE HAVE THE SIGN!!! Didn't know you were referring to the former and not the latter...Bizarre that was an issue for you. So you love that we brought in a guy that couldn't play for a crappy Raider team and gave him a decent sized contract. Let's hope you were right.

What is wrong with you? You get upset and confrontational about everything and then blame others. No, I'm not mad at all and moved on and thought nothing more of the comment after it was made. You seem to cling to things and like to bring them up over and over. I've never had a problem with others having a divergent opinion from mine and didn't believe you to be honest which is why I let it go. I assumed you thought a run stopper and 240lbs DE would be our new pass rushers. I admit it if I was wrong.

Not just you. Mostly you and more you than most others. There is a difference. No one is innocent including me. There are degrees of everything. But, still clinging to something from a year ago that fit then and fits now? Like I said let things go...it's healthier...

Exactly. So why the hell is Carr still on the roster? Cutting him would free up 6.5m and open up a starting spot for someone to earn. Carr is nothing but dead weight at this point.

There wouldn't even be any dead money next year.

so who earns the spot from those guys or do we use #4 to get Ramsey and use him? personally until we have a legitimate answer i don't just cut Carr.

I think Jarntt was on target with indy being a surer place to win the starting position.

maybe but if we cut Carr and Robinson's main competitors to start were Claiborne, Scandrick, Thomas, Oletoye & Mitchell i personally don't think he had anything to worry about here

I've said for ten years now that it's always good to pronounce one's own self as judge as to who is what on a message board. You can point that finger all you want and PM others for agreement....I don't care

Since January I have been saying Dallas should draft Ramsey or Hargreaves and start them next to Scandrick. They should have their choice of at least one of those guys. I am dying for some new blood in the secondary. We got the FS we have been needing (hopefully they play him FS), now we need a new CB.

I'd be good with Ramsey, the only drawback IMO is he's Jones again. If both are more fitted for FS than CB we have two FS unless one can play SS. I don't know if the can or not but I have to wonder about it.

Ramsey should be just fine playing any position in the secondary, he may be more ideally suited to a Saftey position, but I see no reason he can't play CB. The guy is going to be a difference maker in any secondary you put him in.

I really hope Dallas lands him. Then get a pass rusher in round 2. Then I don't really care what happens.

Yet you keep bringing it up? I can guarantee you one thing. The first time I ever PM'd anyone other than a response was the question about Myround and that was because I didn't publically want to say who I thought it was. As far as judging others...that is all you...I'm very comfortable being judged by what I've said and how I have treated others here and elsewhere for the years I've been on Dallas boards

The NFL is becoming a specialty place more than ever before. If that ended up the case we could play Church on running downs and replace him with one of the others on passing downs. But I don't think we are drafting him at #4 overall unless we feel he can cover like a true top CB. My guess is we don't take corner at #4 because it is not often teams rate corners that high and I'm not sure he is as good as a lot of CBs to come out over the past few years. But, if the other talent isn't great in this draft I could see it happening. I still expect pass rusher at #4 unless we see one of these guys as a franchise QB

I doubt were taking a part time specialist at 4. He or Jones may be fine as a starting CB and the other starting FS, I'm just not 100% sold. If Jones wasn't taken last year I'd be higher on Ramsey. Now all that said if he's better than Ramsey as some think he is he will be a very good NFL DB and worth the high pick. I won't be angry at all if he's our guy.

God I hope not...I'd rather take the QB if that were the case

Don't know if we draft Ramsey but I always considered him corner, free & strong safety type and more the strong safety type b4 it's all said and done

I only question him because I don't know where he fits best. If he and Jones aren't one in the same he should have major considerations at 4.

I'm really getting on board the Wentz at 4 train.

That's where i picture him fitting in with his skillset. Now, I also think he is skilled enough for those other positions, especially corner. The one area I think he struggles with is when he is asked to play as a deep zone guy, he doesn't close gaps as good as you'd think. That could be because he doesn't have as much experience playing deep. So as it pertains to him and Byron Jones, I don't see them crossing positions much at all. If the plan is for Ramsey to play deep, I'd much rather pick a different player at 4.
