Among GM's, there's still belief LeBron James walks into Pat Riley meeting, lays out his 1-2 year max contract proposal and stays w/ Heat.

Havent really watched too much ESPN since Heat choked in the finals to be honest. I sneek a peak every now and again after the World Cup games and to hear about baseball/football news - But, have done so for the first time today as they cover the moves the Cavs are making.

They mentioned how all this focus on Diva James has cooled off the Melo talk and how he is sitting pretty waiting for LB to make his move of which will probably help Melo make his.

One scenario thrown out, Lebron leaves Miami - Melo comes to Miami , how about that? Dont know where that would leave Chris Bosh, though - And, I think Wade returns no matter what Lebron does - No one is going to spend much on Wade.

This has now changed according to reports just Riles, Lebron and his agent and not the entire group. Would assume that Riley has a plan B planned in case Lebron leaves. Will be fascinating to see what happens. Cleveland making a strong push but that team as constructed does not beat the Spurs and may struggle with a healthy Bull's team.

I don't disagree on day one, but Cleveland could pull a blockbuster for Kevin Love....who knows....Wade being in Vegas is a good sign. Riley being there on the 9th and meeting face to face seems to also be a good sign. However, a ton of smoke out there that may imply he had made a decision well before he opted out....would be tampering but would not be surprising.

adding kevin love would completely change my mind on this. but what about wiggins? I guess maybe the ship him for love? because with LeBron/wiggins/love.. seems like 3 guys to play 2 positions. don't get me wrong.. who knows. love would change my mind though.

not sure how the salary cap would work with irving and LeBron on max deals.

I have become a victim of all these reports too. I am getting more discouraged LeBron stays.. I hope I am wrong. I just don't like the fit in Cleveland for him.

Real talk.. Him on the Clippers with Paul, Blake, and DeAndre would be an insanely good team. Historically good even. Houston for him would be better. Even Chicago. I would get these other choices... But Cleveland is just not a good fit. I get it is his hometown (Akron). But the organization is just crap and I don't think he wins titles there anytime soon.

Here is a piece Sheridan wrote about this rumor. Interesting that he is getting shut down by just about every other reporter, except for maybe one from SI. The guy also reportedly “ parted ways with ESPN to work independently “ while others believe he was let go for reporting constant inaccuracies to say the least.
