This is counter to what ESPN is reporting. He took other meetings today in Vegas but supposedly the meeting with Miami is tomorrow. At least Wade has been with him.....

I think we are okay. LeBron isn't stupid. Cleveland couldn't put together a winner for him. Miami did. I don't think Kyrie and a rookie are enough. Bosh/Wade/LeBron with an upgraded supporting class is fine. he would be walking away from a 4 time ECF champion team.

Here's another thing that doesn't get brought up. Right now the Cavs supposedly have a talented roster. Irving's an all-star, Waiters is decent, and you have Verajo who's alright. Tristan Thompson hasn't lived up to his pick status, and Anthony Bennett looks like he's going to be the next Kwame Brown. The Cavs as currently constructed couldn't make it to the playoffs in the Eastern conference. Lebron will certainly get them to the playoffs, but that group needs maturation before we can talk about them being a contender.

Also, some of those rookie deals will expire, and those guys are going to want to get paid. Cleveland's going to have to start making choices or start trading assets to re-tool in a way. Something they have yet to prove they can do competently.

In a losing effort, our rookies again with quality performances in Summer League. McKinney-Jones will be playing for another team in the Vegas portion of Summer League - maybe I am being a homer, but sucks to see a former cane get away - He is a pure shooter that we could use

I have to caution the rest of you that this is coming from the guy who gave this team pass after pass after taking shortcuts the entire season and felt the team would still win a title in spite of all that... didnt turn out so well, did it? lets not pay attention to this guy.

Lots of noise in the system about Lebron's marketing campaign with Nike being "Unfinished Business" and many reports about him being almost certain to go back to Cleveland. Sounds like the end of the Big three era could be within days if you believe some reports. If so, I leave Paolo with the important fact that the Big 3 never were able to win a championship without one Shane Battier.

I don't disagree on day one, but Cleveland could pull a blockbuster for Kevin Love....who knows....Wade being in Vegas is a good sign. Riley being there on the 9th and meeting face to face seems to also be a good sign. However, a ton of smoke out there that may imply he had made a decision well before he opted out....would be tampering but would not be surprising.

Unfortunately, I think Cleveland was in Miami on Sunday and met with him face to face and he has decided and now just telling Riley, Spolestra and others face to face. I really hope I am wrong but I doubt it.

Hes failed to make good on his word with the Heat of “ Not 6, Not 7...” So, I dont think he is really in the debate of the greats just yet anyway - hes at the doorstep but not in the house.. this would be a bad U-turn on his part, but wouldnt shock me if he went in that direction

As I have said before, Broussard is an Ohio native who was highly bitter when Lebron left them the first time -- But multiple credible sources have reported and confirmed the same

I appreciate everything Lebron's done for the Heat the last 4 years, it's been one hell of a ride. But I'm not cheering for Lebron if he goes back to Cleveland. That city burned your jersey, the owner called you out, cheered when you failed, and disrespected your name to no end. I too (if he leaves for Cleveland), hope he never wins a title again. Fuck Cleveland.
