Kinda surprised at some guys that have not signed yet: Franson, Stewart, Semin and Oduya come to mind.

There should be interest in signing them, maybe they and their agents have an overinflated view of the market.

Yeah, the Cups helped Saads negotiations big time...but man, it's just a ton of money for a young guy. Suppose I may just need to get used to these kind of things now, becoming more prominent.

What concerns me about Saad's deal is Strome will be a RFA at the end of next season. He put up over 50 points last year & is poised to have an even better season this year. Heck, the Isles haven't signed Brock Nelson yet. YIKES!!

It's a good thing the Isles are so high on their draft picks like Ho Sang, Dal Colle and Barzal because they're going to need those guys when they can't afford to keep Okposo Nelson Strome and De Haan.
