Pretty much... We haven't had many starts where our starter pitches into the 8th... Sad... A wasted effort by our starter if we can't get another run or two...

I'd take Dan Wilson back at this time... I'm pretty sure he'd hit better than Zunino...

Wilson had nearly 1300 pro plate appearances in the minors over 4 years in the minors before becoming a regular in the majors.

Zunino just barely broke 1100, and the majority of those were forced at the MLB level because they called him up absurdly early because there was such a void at the C position.

It's the difference between a front office that knows what it's doing, and one that doesn't have a fucking clue.

I would love to see the stat that shows how many runs we have scored after a sacrifice bunt out of how many chances. Seriously. A team that can't hit we continue to give up outs for. Maybe hot and run once in awhile. What the freak do you have to lose.
