Both my best friend and my fiancee's best friend live in Philly. It sucks because now we have no choice but to go there sometime in the next year to visit.

I have no idea where he lived. People that live directly across the river or within a 50 to 100 mile radius from center city Phila consider themselves as in the Phila area, and most are Phila fans. Most of the people that live in that radius either moved there from Phila or their parents made the move.
In the old days, just about every Flyer lived across the river in NJ.

Philly is the only major city more gross than Detroit, in my expierience. (Flint, Toledo, Saginaw, Gary, etc excluded.)

But I fucking despise rain... that’s why I live in this giant dust bowl. Southern Cali is where I’d like to be but a million bucks doesn’t even get you a nice house.

Phoenix is a way better place to live than Philly. It’s always sunny and beautiful, You can play golf in February and the Cost-of-living is less. More importantly, you don’t have to deal with those disgusting cheese whiz sandwiches.
