I know someone who help trained Pither in off season training. For what its worth he said Pither is a guy who could surprise people. Oh well I guess the Flyers have zero faith in Leighton.

It looks like it was a salary dump for the Canes. It also makes sense if the Flyers plan on buying out Bryz, or trading away somebody to another squad, or never letting Leighton touch the ice ever again ever.

Not that I can imagine anyone WANTING any of our goalies, but hey. I can dream.

They just want some experienced goalie depth. Especially since they seem to get hammered with injuries. They may also not feel too comfortable with Leights and Bouch was always great in the locker room as well as off the bench. I don't mind it.

Actually our backup goalie may be the most important player this year. With the condensed schedule. If Bryz or Leighton go down having depth is crucial. Good move by Homer to get someone familiar and for a cheap price.

It's just how I like it, lol. It's my XBox gamertag and I stole it from the band My Brother The Wind. They type it out as Karmagrinder, I just changed it up.
