Damn, well I was talking about Pronger which I seriously would waive if we could and didnt have to take on his cap hit anymore.

Well I like your plan, and I hope something along these lines can happen. I would just be worried about injuries and having such little room. I have already expressed hope for losing Versteeg, and go for a cheaper winger option like Flieschmann or Upshall.

Also, Recchi. Still love this guy, wish he could go one more year with us. Likely he is retiring though...

haha you added a few in there late.. i watched a lot of caps games this year and i really like laich actually.. he's a very quality player.. but i dont think the caps will let him go.. dupuis no thank you, i can only stomach 1 ex-pen and like you said, he's probably retiring..

regardless of how many times i edited the cap on my plan and it still not being right, that first post is accurate aside from a little rounding (i.e timo's hit is actually 6.333333)

haha true enough.. i'd like to see the wings lose, but there really isn't anyone left that would make me vomit if they won the cup.. i really dont mind the bruins, they have a few players i would love to see in b&o (lucic, chara, horton, boychuk)

Somehow in NHL11 I was able to get Halak, but I lost JVR only to trade for him, sign Gagne, trade Gagne for Semin, (I tihnk I traded Semin for JVR actually) and stay cap compliant.

I think I lost Kimmo awhile ago though

finding wont be hard, fitting will be the problem.. but homer said he's willing to part with a big salaried forward.. which means carter pretty much.. briere is too high salaried and the organization has a love affair with el capitan

I like Horton, dont really think of Boychuk, Chara is easy to root against but a great D man, and I do like Lucic a lot but I still think he is a very over rated player.

Richards is supposed to be our franchise's face, so yeah he is staying. Everybody else has a NTC of somesort minus Carter, but woth his new 11 year deal I really would find his trade strange

ya.. that game is weird with trades though.. i feel like you can straight rip people off.. 1st round picks in that game are so valuable to the CPU but the top prospects usually take like 3-4 years to develop, unless you get a franchise prospect.. but i've only seen like 1 of those in '11

I like Horton, dont really think of Boychuk, Chara is easy to root against but a great D man, and I do like Lucic a lot but I still think he is a very over rated player.

I find the "What they want" and "What they are giving up" to be total bullshit though. I always offer them something what they want for something they're giving up but then I am told that they dont want to add to their _____ surplus.

He just signed an extension. The fact that he's had two consecutive bad playoff performances isn't going to help either.

I just think this organization likes Carter too much to trade him.

kimmo will only be playing for us 2 more years. he's expensive, but worth the gamble as this point. he will probably retire at the end or play 1 more season with a team of his choice.

pronger is locked up forever. but his hit if he retires and we buy his contract out is only 2/3 of the 4.9mil and that total can be spread out over twice the length of the remaining year total. so it could be as little as 1.6 mil depending on when he hangs it up.
