Playing South Carolina isn't exactly the same as playing FSU every year OOC most of the time.
And playing FSU and Idaho isn't the same as playing South Carolina and Auburn. Or South Carolina and Texas A&M. Or South Carolina and Texas A&M. Or South Carolina and Alabama. Or South Carolina and TCU.
Can’t do any better than this but here is a list of ever matchup FSU and Fla have played, you can tell by the record how many times FSU could have been top 10 and look up the year. Same done for Clemson/ South Carolina.Total top 10 and total ranked (end of season)
Last 20 years.
Last 30 years.
Last 40 years.
We can settle this objectively.
They will be a footnote in about 2 years.
Boise St did demand home and homes, they would only take neutral sites.
Nebraska Offers Boise State Two-for-One Deal: Why Won't BSU Accept?
For example, Nebraska offered Boise St a 2 for 1 deal, and Boise St wouldn't take less than a home and home.
They've gotten some home and homes lately, but everyone saying Boise St didn't try to pull a bunch of bullshit is wrong.

We all know they won’t be doing that again any time soon if they can help it.We'll take a 2 for 1 if the money is right, we don't have an unlimited amount of money like you guys do. Nebraska didn't offer enough, Michigan State and Oregon ponied up and we took 2 for 1s with them (though Oregon doesn't have to pay as much since they're a closer trip)

Over the last 40 years OOC (regular season) I count
26 final top 10 opponents (5 of those were national champs)
18 more final ranked opponents.
I'm willing to entertain claims that UF's OOC scheduling is weak. Just show me your team has played more than UF over this time. Show us your work.
I try to limit my defenses of Florida, but if I had to play FSU every year I probably wouldn't leave the state either.
They aren't a top 25 program let alone top 10.

Maybe in the 1970's and 80's it did. Since then your OOC has been mostly FSU and three nobodies
See post above.Who won't?
