Well the Rams didn't have very much time to prepare for one of the worst teams in the NFL. Oh wait they had all summer.

We are always shocked at the lack of preparedness by Fisher's teams. Every season we all go through a period of shock at how bad the team looks after game 1, how totally inept they are on both sides of the ball, like they have not practiced at all in training camp, like they all sat in a bar the whole summer. Even the folks that can see just how bad the team looks in PS are shocked at just how right they are once the season begins.

My prediction for next week, Case gets benched at the half. Gurley's longest run 3 yards, Goff in street clothes again. Player of the Game for the Rams the punter. Score? they might...but they will not win the game. Fisher will complement the Seahawks for an amazing game plan.

I didn't watch the Niners in the preseason; did they reveal much of their offense (although it should've been anticipated by good coaches)?

I have stated this all along for nearly the last four years. Fisher does not know how to prepare a team for the regular season competition. He is in over his head. If you get somebody who knows what he is doing, you get a team into the top five power rankings like what Jack Del Rio has done with the Raiders in just two short years. I wonder what Mike Singletary now thinks after becoming an insider. Perhaps the limp biscuit will step in now and do some replacement therapy!

Not sure if your being sarcastic or not. They should be ready for a division opponent week 1 no excuses. If the niners were showing them something new then it's up to the coaches to make adjustments which Fisher and Co can't do.

It would explain the first half issues, and the defense did improve for at least the 3rd quarter until the lack of Rams offensive plays wore them out.

He's incrementally working Goff into the offense. Watch from the sidelines game 1 to experience the speed of the game, now get backup reps this week and be next in line this week. Next step is starting, how soon depends on Fisher's plan (or front office pressure if Keenum keeps stinking it up).

I'm sure that he's probably begging to get out. I think it's pretty obvious to just about everyone that Fisher and the front office want nothing to do with Mannion for reasons that you listed.
How dare someone actually be good and maybe give you the chance to win.
