I won't be surprised many Pats fans are rooting for the Texans tomorrow.

If Brisett comes out and has a good game against the Texans defense, it will finally expose Brady for what he is - a sixth round draft talent, who benefited from being in a good team with great talent around him.
It would also give Patriot haters another 15 years of hating on NE. Imagine if BB and co. found the next TB w/o trading/wasting draft picks. The horror, lol keep hating

Or if Garappolo was QBing that game the Pats would have lead by 21 going into the half.
Entire game was squandered on Brady. Pete Carroll handed them that one on a silver platter.

Yes because Miami's D and Seattle's were exactly the same. Do you actually think before you post? This is a football forum clown nuts.

Minutes before worst playcall in the history of American sports Brady was planning his retirement-in-disgrace speech.

Minutes after?

Right back to the "GOAT!!! MVP!!!" hero worship.

He was literally the least-talented player on the field.

He is worried that Brisett will score 3+ TDs tomorrow, and people will finally realize what a fraud Brady* is.
...in which case Brisett's life won't be worth a plugged nickle in Foxborough.

If he's smart he'll suck real bad and make Brady* fans happy.

Nay sayers always say it's the system and not Brady but The Patriots didn't look like the Pats with Drew Bledsoe in the same system. When Tom took over NE dominance began.

Correction....months of repeating the same tired aspersions about Brady and Kraft and reveling in trying to provoke strangers. Hours and hours and days and days of time devoted to this.

Oh shut the fuck up you moron. EVERY Pats fan is hoping for a win.

You're the dipshit with Brady's balls on your chin.

At least his sister has brains in the family. She is a Pats fan and not a whiny hater

A grand total of probably less than two hours combined.

But yeah, Homer. "Months."

My response to that?

Tom Brady* cheated.

Obviously not a system QB. It's not like other players/coaches are saying he sucks and it's the system. Cassel did well. I believe he took over a 16-0 regular season team led them to their only non-playoff season in 13 years, and was the largest drop off in QB production year to year for a team in NFL history.

And we see this all the time... "Oh Rice, Jim Brown, Marino, etc all just system guys" since replacements did really well at times.

And what's funny is everybody will throw around "system" but nobody can name what this "system" entails. 2001's offense was completely different from 2007's which is completely different from recent years. Is it the unstoppable Charlie Weiss offense? The unstoppable Josh McDaniels offense? The unstoppable Bill O'Brien offense? Which system is the one? The run heavy more vertical one? The spread WR one? The multiple TE one? The horizontal passing WCO looking one? The shotgun heavy one? The under center one?

Belichick's system NE with Brady playing (96.4 QB rating, win 77% of their games, Made post-season 13 of 14 years)
Belichick's system NE without Brady playing (74.33 QB rating, win 48% of their games. Missed post-season both seasons)

What throws does Brady never have to make that other guys need to in order to win that the system hides? What schemes are there that no one else does?

If you are going to call it "system", fine. When the WCO came out they had a new system. Mostly 3 and 5 step drops. Using the short horizontal passing game to set up the vertical passing game instead of the run to do that. Timed throws, option routes, etc.. Easy to say "that's the system"... Teams copied it and were successful. Coaches used it elsewhere and won rings. But what's the one here? Is it the Tebow Denver offense scheme? The Texans Mallett Offensive scheme?

Guess what. If NE wins next week, Belichick becomes a .500 coach in NE without Brady as his starting QB. That's why only two players in NFL history have ever made more than Brady. Seriously, if BELICHICK thought his system won, then he's got to be the biggest business idiot in history to pay Brady elite money. I mean anyone can work at McDonald's, it's why they don't pay their cashiers $200k a year.

Obviously they do well at playing to their QB's strengths, but every single team in the NFL does that. Teams run some option with Cam at QB. If Derek Anderson comes in, they don't. It's common sense, and visible. Unlike this super secret system...

But honestly if you look at Brady's career and say "he's just a system QB", maybe football isn't the sport for you to offer your comments on. Maybe badminton is your calling, giving insight into the puppy bowl?

Why do Pats fans get so angry when *Brady's replacements play better than him?

The whole "system QB" is just flat stupid. Who actually believes this bullshit?

Now there are QB's that are better for one type of system over another but you still have to play the position. The throws still have to be made. The blitzes recognized. You still have to follow your progressions to find open receivers...etc...etc...etc....that shit is not taught via "the system"

Because overall they don't.

A few moments here and there sure. But then every time the idiots come out of the woodwork and ignore all the guys who don't play as well trolling along.

I'll be on the side with Brady, Ben, Aikman, Young, Favre, Rodgers, Elway, Moon, Montana.

Those that want the side with Flynn, Brister, Bono, Grbac, Batch, Peete, Garrett, Carlson, and Garroppolo can make that choice if they so choose.

Please don't say you are one of the ones who also also thinks Matt Flynn is better than Rodgers/Favre, Bono was better than Montana/Young, and Brister was better than Elway.

Don't be the guy who after that 141 QB rating in Grbac's first game was saying he was better than Steve Young.

The guy who saw Rodney Peete and Jason Garrett both outplay Aikman in starts on year and said they were better QB's.

Because even when Charlie Batch just dominates so much more than Big Ben in a given year. I still want Big Ben as my QB over him every single time.

"System QB" = Not as effective in just any other "system"

"Great QB" = Can excel with no playbook limitations, can make any team a SB contender

Its all based on opinion, and I don't see adding Tom Brady to any other team in the NFL in any other system, makes them an instant SB contender

You'd have to be blind not to realize this guy is most comfortable playing within a 10-12 yard box, and throws beyond that are simply not accurate throws more times than not
