Firing Joe Paterno was the wrong way of firing him.

I am not for the firing of Joe Paterno, but they fired him. Even if they fired him because they felt he needed to go because of old age or because he didn't fulfill his moral obligation. Firing him by phone is just wrong. Joe Paterno has done so much positive for that program that he deserved a private meeting, and told face-to-face that he was terminated. I think that is the respectful thing to do.

Every child that was abused after this shower incident makes JoPa an accessory to the act. If he had any scruples at all rather than the willful ignorance he has shown he would have QUIT instead of pathetically trying to hang on for the rest of the season.

Where's the respect and concern he showed to the children of these unspeakable acts?

He got what he deserved which is a lot more than the victims got.

He would not had the venue to entice them in. He was most definately an enabler.

I don't know. I wasn't in the room. And I'm also not an investigator. But that's what they get paid for. Fact of the matter is, someone gives you the type of info Paterno received, you turn it over to the police that very second.

So, are you telling me if somebody bends you over against your will and has their way, you're just going to shrug your shoulders and say, 'What's the point? These guys are hard to catch? and go on about your business. What if it was one of your own kids? I think not.
