I am not for the firing of Joe Paterno, but they fired him. Even if they fired him because they felt he needed to go because of old age or because he didn't fulfill his moral obligation. Firing him by phone is just wrong. Joe Paterno has done so much positive for that program that he deserved a private meeting, and told face-to-face that he was terminated. I think that is the respectful thing to do.
