When Alexy reaches his maximum number of innings sometime in mid to late August of 2022, maybe Kyle Cody can step into that spot in the rotation.

When Alexy reaches his maximum number of innings sometime in mid to late August of 2022, maybe Kyle Cody can step into that spot in the rotation.

i wonder if in an attempt to keep Alexy's and Otto's innings down that the Rangers don't use the opener theory by starting Alexy as the opener with Otto as the middle man one game and 5 days later use Otto as the opener and Alexy as the middle man. of course that would mean we basically carry 6 starters with a FA, Hearn, Dunning, Allard and Alexy/Otto which also means 7 relievers (if the MLB stays with a 26-man roster).

IKF kind of fits that mold but wise have Hernandez too and now Davis W in AAA who may go that route
Going to have options pretty soon


Guess the magic question is have we seen enough to assess the guys this year to keep some and drop others or is more assessment needed
