I think it’s who he plays for. The other rookies in the ALROY race play for east coast teams. He will be lucky to finish in the top 5 in the voting even though his stats are pretty much better than the others

It is all because of the offseason adjustment he made in his swing. Now, why he never came across a hitting instructor before that would have given that guidance is a mystery. It makes you wonder how many other guys quit the game without trying the right approach or the right mechanics.
