Final 8 games

very tough, right now. I thought we would win Sunday. What we know now is that we can play with possible playoff teams like Seattle. I was looking at the schedules. Looks like Dallas, Sea, and Vikings are going to be the 3 wildcards.

Seattle played well and geno was better than I thought.

I love his story.

If Ken dorsey is fired and leads the 8th best offense in the nfl, why is Del Rio still walking the side line with the 32nd defense?

I almost think Rivera knows he is out and doesn't want to embarrass his friend.

I can respect him for that.

I think we knew we could play with playoff teams. Both games against the eagles showed that.

Thr fact remains:

We can beat bad teams.
We haven't been able to beat good teams to this point.

We have 6 games left basically. I am counting the giants game as a win.

The defense is killing this team. It only gets worse statistically again 3 of the best offenses in the nfl coming up. It's a week to week league, but it doesn't look good.

I am leaning toward 7-10 instead of 8-9. I see the following:

NYG: win
DAL: loss
Mia: loss
Sf: loss
LAR: win
NYJ: win
DAL: loss

You can flip 1 of those most likely. Again, these aren't predictions...these are results of what makes sense given current records.

I agree with that. It will cover my over. lol. Sunday was so frustrating. BSJ jumped the route on 4th downplay and was in perfect position, but he decided to make contact instead of playing the ball. If he plays the ball, he makes the play in front of Metcalf. If we got that stop that would have been huge. BSJ was so bad late in the 4th

I would add that nobody other than dean would be surprised either, if this outcome came to pass.

Meanwhile, the offensive line also has the ability to lose the game for us, but fortunately they dont have a dinosaur calling outdated plays for them now.

I cant confidently predict a single goddamned win remaining on the schedule.

I cant also confidently predict that they wont beat a team on their schedule who they absolutely shouldnt beat, just because.

We need 3 losses more to make sure riveras fate is sealed.

I have no clue where those come from.

Logically, they come from the 49ers, MIA, and dallas.

To your point, we could be any of them.

I do think DAL at DAL and SF are sure fire losses.

I almost wish we would just lose the next 3 and be done with it.

I am excited for a new look next year with hopefully better coaching.

I am not saying he is the new president or GM, I just wonder if he is the first domino and harris/group want an analytics guy in first to help with decisions.

If I was to guess, then yes. He isn't the big pick though. When the season is over and Harris can interview people currently on times is when things will start to change.

My guess is Chen is compiling numbers on a lot of things:

Current players, GM candidates, potential coaches, draftable college players, etc

Or, he could be doing harris taxes..lol
