So now players go on IR because of sprains? This league has become so pussified it is not even funny anymore. Just heard Shoelace did the same. Seriously? a fucking sprain?

Also Philly scooped Couplin off our practice squad. Not happy about that. I think he will be a good one if he keeps his head on straight.

Sprains are often slower to heal than a broken bone. A guy Fauria's size with a sprained ankle probably isn't going to heal in time to be back on the field this season, so why wouldn't they send him to IR?


I don't think it's an issue of toughness at all.


It's a bummer losing Couplin off the practice squad, but we lost him to Buffalo earlier this season, and got him back, so there's no guarantee he sticks in Philly, where he's their 5th safety...

DRob was supposed to be like a 6 week deal for healing. Seems Jax is just opening a roster spot.

I was happy when Couplin got resigned to PS after Bills cut him. Not happy now, figured kid had a shot. Might not be here though.

Yup, Bush may be playing for a roster spot next year through the end of the season. What he has given us so far is not worth anywhere near what he is getting paid.

I don't wanna play the draft game just yet. But when I do, a back that can break a tackle will be something I mention. Im pro-Riddick, and not really anti-Bush,(don't think anyone wasn't excited when he landed here) but he's done nothing of any importance and costs too much. Good talent can be kept by letting him loose.

If he does stick around, he shouldn't be counted on. Little late in the game to think he can stay healthy, IMO.

I agree. It isn't as if we are using the TE position for anything more than dumping passes off or throwing them little swing passes. Why not let the guy who has proven he can get open underneath go out for some passes.
