Will there be a Romeo/HuskerCradle thread?

No, because I've come to the conclusion I'm not conversing with intelligent life. So what's the point? It's like taking candy from a baby.

Maybe yes, Maybe No...but I think we've clearly established that Nebraska vs Oklahoma needs to get back on the schedule.

:tsk:

Like I said, you're unable to converse like an adult. Can't believe I've wasted this much time on your dumb ass, but you've proven my point for me. Thanks for that.

Classic. You name call like a 10 year old girl and I can't converse like an adult. Comedy gold right there.

people get mad about team SEC pimping wins over Clemson and Duke (2013) and we've got a nebraska fan pimping wins over FCS teams.

I don't see it as "pimping wins over FCS teams". I see it more as taking a decent FCS team lightly.

McNeese St was playing their first game and had likely spent the entire month of August prepping for the game. On the other hand Nebraska spent all week with their heads in the clouds over a 55-7 win over FAU and the knowledge they'd be playing a lowly FCS team.

There is still no excuse for the performance, but the outcome of the game doesn't end like that week in and week out.

it is "pimping" a win as much as SEC fans "pimp" wins.

also what makes you think mcneese state is a decent team? in 2013, they lost to jacksonville state 31-10, southeastern louisiana 41-7, and northern iowa 41-6.

maybe they are "decent" for FCS ranks, but they are terrible, and any actual top 20 team would have put them away by halftime.

McNeese St beat FBS South Florida 53-21 last season.
3 of McNeese St's last 6 losses to FBS teams were by 10 points or less.
McNeese St had been practicing for the game since Aug 9th
McNeese St has 5 FBS transfers
QB Daniel Sams (Kansas State)
RB Derrick Milton (Mississippi State)
RB Nate Holmes (Arkansas)
CB Jermaine Antoine (TCU)
K Alex Kjellsten (LSU)

Nebraska overlooked them. It's as simple as that.

Exactly. It shouldn't have happened, but I don't think this is the "sky is falling" moment most are making it out to be. We won. In 6 weeks, that's all that's gonna matter one way or the other. Either this team isn't very good and we will have lost a few, or they are good and remain unbeaten, where no one will think about how much we beat McNeese State by in week 2.

South Florida lost to McNeese St (53-21) in 2013. A 32 point spread.

South Florida also lost to..

Michigan St (21-6) (15 pts)
Miami, FL (49-21) (28 pts)
Louisville (34-3) (31 pts)
UCF (23-20) (3 pts)

South Florida beat..

Cincinnati (26-20)

Would McNeese St beat all those teams?

No. But the transitive property says they would give them a tough game if McNeese had a month to prepare and those teams took them lightly.
