He’s on the block and likely is in a lot of leagues. I assume he going to miss game or games.

I guess the answer is no one would try to trade for him until further news comes out on his injury.

Depends on how much of a risk taker you are.

I would trade for him now. But wouldn’t give better than 4th or 5th round draft value.

Doubt his owner would go for that.

If you got a high end WR2 and flex RB, I'd be offering 2 for 1 deals like that if trying to snipe him at injury discount prices

Got a league that doesn't put TNF players on waivers until weekend games kickoff. Grabbed Hubbard and offered him to CMC owner for Sutton before the 4Q started, lol

So let me get this straight...

The Ravens are a RB enigma.
The 49ers are a RB horror show.
Some top RB have been slow to get going (at least by preseason expectations), such as Kamara, Elliott and Barkley.

And you WANT TO INVITE this kind of uncertainty on your fantasy team by trading for CMC?

Can we now say he is "injury prone?"

All through college he missed one game, in 2016. Then he never missed another until last year, 3 separate injuries basically cost him the entire year. And ankle, an AC joint in the shoulder, and then a quad. And now a hammy.

He's built up a ton of cred of being durable while handling a ton of touches every week. The ankle and the AC joint? Can chalk that up to Shit happens. Joints, bones, that stuff can, mostly, be fixed. The quad and the hammy? . That's beginning to be concerning. Soft tissue issues, things of that nature, seem to linger and continously happen.
I'm not ready to slap him with that yet, but it's certainly becoming an issue

Well, I think it all depends on the league setup and your record. If you're in a keeper type league and 3-0 then no. But under the same league setup and you're 0-3 (and just not very good), I'd give it a shot. But for a standard re-draft league it's just a no for me.

Yeah I agree with Lefty, your record is going to be a big factor here. If you are 3-0 or 2-1 I think you can afford to be weak for a few weeks and take a shot at him, but if you are 1-2 or 0-3 I'm not sure you can withstand the next few weeks to make it worth it with the uphill battle you would have because of the caliber of player you would have to trade for him. And what Monkey said is exactly what I would offer, a wide receiver 2 and a flex running back, something like one of the Tampa Bay wide receivers and Chase Edmunds or Melvin Gordon for McCaffrey. Something along those lines.

For the most part, a lot of the free agents picked up in weeks 1 and 2 have NOT paid dividends. I would assume there are some desperate owners right now willing to overpay.

If youre gonna bid $25, bump it up to $26. If youre gonna bid $30, bump it to $31. Dont get hung up on $5 increments.

If you need an RB now, probably 40%.

But I’d rather let someone else pay for him.

We have $1000 budget.
Mitchell went for $505
I grabbed Mattison for only $169 (Mitchell owner bid $111)

I think Hubbard is more Mitchell than Mattison, but either way, is capped unless CMac lingers or re-injures.

CMac owner? Then pop a 50% bid.
