(RotoWire) Foster (groin), who practiced again on Wednesday, was "lookeing really good" in doing so, per coach Bill O'Brien. Analysis: When quizzed about about a timetable for Foster's return to action, O'Brien said, "I'm not sure about this week, but I would say sooner rather than later." With that in mind, despite the progress the running back is making, ESPN's Adam Schefter is the latest to relay that the Texans don't think Foster will play this weekend, a notion that should be solidified, one way or the other, as the week rolls along.

I thought Brees was gonna play this week

(RotoWire) Brees (shoulder) intends to suit up and play Sunday at Carolina, Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Analysis: Brees didn't throw in Wednesday's practice but took part in a couple drills, which is a small step in the direction of active status Sunday. However, he'll likely have to show some progress with his bruised rotator cuff, namely be able to make at least nominal throws, before the team's medical staff will clear him for action.

I have trouble remembering GOOD players from 2007-09. So don't expect me to remember mediocre or bad players. That grumpiness comes with old age.
