I do, but not going to try to change anyone's opinion on the subject, because it would not be productive.
if you think he has earned it then nothing to try to change. I get having a difference of opinion as long as the other party understands why I have dislike/disdain for someone

CJ Anderson to Carolina.

Here's the official report...

The Panthers had a vacancy for a traditional running back after not finding one in the draft, so they found a 1,000-yard rusher.

A league source tells PFT that the Panthers have signed veteran running back C.J. Anderson.

Anderson was released by the Broncos, despite rushing for 1,007 yards last season. A number of teams were interested, but the Panthers might have had the greatest need.

In Carolina, he provides a solid complement to Christian McCaffrey, who has varied skills but may not ever be an every-down back. Otherwise, they had Cameron Artis-Payne and Fozzy Whittaker, a thin group after they released Jonathan Stewart.

Great signing after losing Jonathan Stewart.

Silly panthers

It's a great signing for them. Anderson isn't gonna take carries away from CMC. He'll simply be used as a mentor for McCaffrey and probably see alot of time on 3rd downs and in pass protection.

CJ in on third downs and passing situations over McAffrey, one of the best, f not the best passing game RB in the game? You sure you're talking about the same reality as the rest of us, or is there an alternate reality you've discovered somewhere?

Pass protection maybe, but just because he did well in the Broncos blocking scheme doesn't mean he will do well with the Panthers. I'll use Forte as an example PFF had him top 7 3 straight years in pass blocking, Marc Trestman take over the offense changes schemes and Forte was dead last among starters both years.

I think CJA would have been a better fit for the Texans than the Panthers with Foreman in rehab, Lamar Miller embracing his inner JAG, and everyone in the league knowing Alf Blue is barely replacement level talent

Every time you leave his name off I'm throwing it out there since I own him in my league and I am contractually obligated to mention him - Orleans Darkwa. He's just got way too cool of a name to forget about. LOL.

Darkwa will wind up somewhere before the start of the season.

Darkwa would fit in great in Houston. It would give them a nice complement to Miller and once Foreman gets healthy, could provide a great backup or a 1, 2 punch leaving Miller a role player.

This severely dampens my already delusional CAP aspirations. A dart is a dart, but I just missed the board.

With Freeman the main back and Booker the poor man's Freeman as the backup, they could use more quickness for the C.O.P. guy. Darkwa isn't that type. Only way I see Denver make a play for Darkwa is if they cut Booker, which wouldn't make much sense.

Unless they want to utilize a "RB by committee" approach...
