For the 49ers, the best is easy. Joe Montana. The link didn't work but would be interesting to see who they choose as the worst. Choosing the worst is much harder. I am not sure who that would be after a 40 year history when the bad ones are forgotten over time.

I pick Montana, too, but Young has a strong case, so it's not that easy in my mind.
