yep, and mores the pity. It will show just how meaningless HOF's have become in modern sports. @ really great last minute drives in SB's is a nice storyline but hardly HOF worthy. Hell, he didn't even deserve MVP's in those SB's, imo anyway. The defense won those games and great catches by his WR's to have the chance. I don't get why some people can't see that.

2-3 quarterbacks make it per decade. Just playing today you have Brady, Peyton, Brees, Rodgers, and Roethlisberger ahead of him. This isn't counting the players who will make a name for themselves going forward. I don't see where there is any room for Eli.
