Eagles have weapons everywhere we need to spread them out and let Nick pick the best option. Sproles, Jeffrey, Aghalor, Tate, Ertz, Goddard, and surprises with Adams and Smallwood. We got this!
EggFuckingZactly! The advantage Foles has over Wentz is that he uses multiple options which makes it harder to double team potential receivers.

Here's some stuff I've dug up.

1)
The Bears could not run the ball against the Lions.
22-54 at home.
15-38 on road.
Whatever they did, Schwartz and company should probably be mimicking.

2)
On 3rd down they are going to throw short of the sticks and we're going to have to tackle. Trubisky was 25/29 against the Niners in week 16, but they only converted 5 of 11 3rd downs. That was their best 3rd down performance*
3/10 home against Packers in week 15
7/16 home against the Rams wk 14
2/15 at Giants wk 13
3/10 at Detroit wk 12
4/10 home against Detroit wk 10

*I left out the Viking games from this analysis. The Bears were best against them on 3rd down both times. Nagy probably just used Pederson's playoff playbook lol.

3)
Trubisky basically doesn't get sacked at home. No team got him more than once since Pats and Jets did it weeks 7 and 8. And they each only got him twice.

If you see us getting him early on Sunday, it means our Dline found something to exploit.

The Bears have changed to a zone blocking scheme for the running game, here the last few weeks, (same scheme Howard had great success his first two seasons)so that detroit stuff means next-to-nothing.

uh... no... the play calling goes to different guys as the first read. Foles generally throws to his first read all the time... even if they are double or triple covered.

But we have a ton of talent on this offense, and there was no reason that Jeffrey was not used more this season. There is no reason that tate came in and wasn't used to his specialized YAC skillset quicker. Agholor is a burner and should be used as such a bit more. It's about time they realized 2 TE sets work... I guess they forgot about last year.

This is not an advantage of the QB's... this is the difference in the playcalling.

Can’t remember if this is my score prediction, or an update in this thread.

It’s game day!

Eagles 16 10 Bears.
Let’s go!

Just watched a clip on this last night. It was a mantra last season. Let’s keep it going!

I believe that I said on an earlier thread:
Birds - 24
Bears - 17

I forget if that's what I said, but anyway, I'll go with this.

This will be a tough game. The experienced Foles (29, 7 years) is the key vs young Trubisky (24, 2 years). Go Eagles! Some comparisons:

Bears: 12-4, 421 PF, 283 PA. Diff +138; 7-1 at home.
Eagles: 9-7, 367 PF, 348 PA. Diff__+19; 4-4 away. (Wentz 11 games, Foles 5 games)

Foles: three 2017 playoff games: 100-139, 72%, 1,166 yards, 8 TD, 1 int.
Foles: five 2018 games: ._______141-195, 72%, 1,413 yards, 7 TD, 4 int.

Trubisky: 14 games, 289-434, 66%, 3,223 yards, 24 TD, 12 int.

Eagles have a three game win streak vs Bears since 2012. Good omens!
2013: Eagles beat CHI 54-11 (H) Foles
2016: Eagles beat CHI 29-14 (A) Wentz
2017: Eagles beat CHI 31-3 (H) Wentz

Pretty happy so far after the 1st quarter. Good D and we've had bad field position yet lead by 3 and start the 2nd quarter on 1st down.
