Im not in any hurry but classes dont start until Monday so I am trying to use my free time while I have it.

I had to redo D2 to allow for trades. As to the drops Fantrax locks drops of you lock claims. But of a pain

Alright Smitty and Bandit agree to a trade:

Smitty gets Jordan Howard and Bandit gets the 1.3 the 1.4 the 4.2, T.J. Yeldon, and Golden Tate.

Nice doing business with you Smitty. @TREFF since we will have one extra on our roster, you can just go ahead and drop T.J. Yeldon for us so you don't have to open it back up.

So I looked it up because I was curious and the first trade of last year was on January 16th between Smitty and myself. Let's see if somebody gets one done before that this year. Just an FYI when it comes to our team, we don't plan on figuring out who to drop to free up the IR spots until the Super Bowl because other than one of our defenses we're not exactly sure who we are going to cut.

ok, sorry y'all. League is renewed. Everything is open, normal rules apply until the Monday after the super bowl.

Drops and trades will be allowed, Adds will be closed, and the IR Shut down. Anyone with players on IR at that time will ONLY be allowed to drop players to rectify the IR situation, once that is done, trades will open up to that team.
Adds will open up one week before the yet to be determined draft date.

And you found that if you have guys on the IR you can only drop until your roster is legal. Then you can begin trading, correct?

Well, I looked at ours and there is no change in what can be done. ..... the only 'button' shown is trade, no drop by anyone's name. ....

Yea - my bad - was still linked to the 2018 season. .... I see that too now.

Well, even though my roster is legal, I still have drop capabilities. From what I gather, drops and trades are the only things allowed after any IR situation is cleared up.
