I tried, but never had the guts to try this hard until I had a little more flexibility with the wides, and a RB that fits better for me than Shady or Rawls as the return RB in a deal.

lets look at DoublEE again
firstly look at my team
he is the only RB i have
it is dynasty after all
i think my fellow Canadian pointed that out as well why would i trade the only decent RB i have
everyone keeps stating he is far and away the most valuable player in this year's rookie draft
by the amount of offers i received i think you guys have justified that thought
as draft day got closer the offers did get better
i didn't elaborate publicly about the details or contents of the offer
i did respond privately though
now did i receive any decent ones yes i did
but trust me i received some terribly insulting ones as well
im assuming guys were just playing the game and maybe chancing that i didn't see the value of the first pick
and cool with that and thus i never bashed anyone who made an offer that i deemed ugly

Sorry guys thats my bad. Like I said in the denial, I took time away from work and got distracted with getting my house in order for an appraisal.
On the positive side, my house just appraised for 62k over what I paid for it a few years ago so I have that going for me lol.

have i made a mistake by turning down the 2 or 3 fair offers well only time will tell
as a Rookie Rb may be an amazing risk
however the more calls i field the more i think im justified in staying the course
the preseason trades were mostly crap i was offered a lower pick and a very questionable player for pick 1 numerous times
so i ask you what would you do if you had my dynasty squad
at Rb i have Buck Allen and Forsett and sit here hoping one or the other wins the job
well what if neither does
then im left with no starting RBs if i trade DoublEE away
what am i being offered for him (Treff's offer aside)
lets see WRs thats what well i have Antonio at 1 and Benjamin who looks to be a solid 2nd Wr on my team at 2
and then Crabtree at 3 or flex so why get ridiculously thin at Rb to strengthen Wr and have a WR ride the pine
so @TREFF im thinking
and for those who need to know
early preseason Milk had the best offer
later preseason it was Chef
the rest well..... again its dynasty and thus i think the DoublEE upside could rank him with Gurley and Bell
so should any offer be similar to what you need offer for Gurley or Bell
and yes im aware that we all laugh at me if DoublEE is the next Richardson

Anytime an owner changes the name of his team to honor one player - - it's obvious the 'bar' (pun) is set awfully high. .... far too rich for my blood.
