You guys are right. It's hopeless. There's no point in taking a shot. Nope. None at all.
why Chef im not going to spit out names but i promise you its not hopeless
its definitely not cheap but i really only received 1 offer worth thinking about

as i wrote early i was offered a mid round pick and 2 rbs neither being a starter though 1 yet may be(big question mark there)

i was offered a just above mid pick and an rb who was probably an rb 2 at best prob an rb3

and most are now consenting that there wont be much out there after the first 6 to 10 picks

look at my team i have squat at rb would anyone give up the potential that is Double E for any of those offers
i think not so stating it is hopeless is making an assumption without fact

i certainly wasnt offered a stud player by anyone for Double E

Treff mentioned what he thinks it might cost yet never offered any of that

however i will state Treff is close to right

so maybe you could say hopeless

i know one thing its nice to have what everyone seems to be saying "that is EE is for real"
hey i suffered all year with my crap team (Hill did squat Foster got hurt) and i guess being able to have some fun owning EE is my just reward

so fire away but Lefty and Treff are right it wont be cheap...

Agree, both better then the QB they drafted. Jets must be feeling desperate for a QB that can put some pressure on Fitz to sign.

Yea, they should've come to terms with Fitz, 2-3 years or so, traded a bag of rocks to Dallas for Alf, stacked the defense in the draft, and looked at project QB's late

In fairness, Fitz should be signing his name as fast as possible. He had his chance to haggle, but he blew it in the 4th quarter (again) against my beloved Bills in week 17 last year.

Still, I agree with you... Forte, Marshall, Decker... they are built for now...
