1. Definitely not career threatening
2. He was already injured, which was already affecting the outcome
3. Correct
4. Also correct- Klay Thompson may be gone now
5. No team put "all their hopes on signing KD"

4. Klay is ONLY gone if the Warriors dont knock on his door on the first day to work a max deal and not a cent less. He stays if they offer that

If Durant exercises his option, they don't have anywhere near enough money to offer Thompson a max deal.

What? They have bird rights, they can offer him a max deal. No supermax though of course.

They can for next year but then either KD or Draymond is definitely gone the following year.

The more I've thought on this someone will give KD a Max deal and he'd be nuts not to take it

Yeah Draymond will probably be the guy left out if indeed KD does sign a supermax deal

Livingston is retiring, and if not he ain't coming back. He's cooked.

I'm talking actual money. I can't see any organization spending that much real world cash on a team in a single year.

It's in a link posted twice now how much their payroll will cost. Think they'd still have to fill out with exceptions and league minimum guys beyond that I believe which would take them to 350 mil

doesn't matter. irrelevant. absolutely wont happen. this just shows that you simply do not grasp the financial implications. your statement is born of ignorance and hopefulness.
I don't think it will happen either, but not because Lacob's too cheap to do it. If Klay and/or Green was on the level of KD I think he might try and keep them all even at max deals.

You said they dont have enough money to OFFER Klay a max deal, they do but will they offer KD a supermax and Klay a max? Who knows, that is A LOT of money into the luxury tax and a HUGE tax bill

Correct. I said money. Not cap space.

If Durant opts in, Thompson is gone.

And the Warriors can offer Durant all the Supermax deals they want. He's not signing. He very clearly wants out of Golden State.

I don’t claim to know but I’ll throw out a scenario no one has menrtioned. Get rid of Draymond and the rest live happily ever after.
