At best.. Warriors were probably done after this season anyways . None of them get along and so stacked with talent they can't decide who's gonna be "the man". They were heavy favorites to win the title that year but lost because Kobe's ego, ball hogging and constant bricks. Shaq still had 2-3 prime years left after that. Then Kobe starting coming into his peak years by then. They SHOULD have won at least 4 more after 2004

But the Warriors could sign these guys to whatever deals they want because they have all of their Bird Rights. This is why ESPN mentioned that over the next 4-5 years, the Warriors are looking at paying a total of $1.5 billion in salary and luxury tax.

The fuck are you blathering about now? The luxury penalty will be significant because they're in the repeaters bracket. In the end, it's up the the Warriors ownership if they want to pay it. Meaning, they could re-sign all of their guys if they want. Stop trying to derail every single argument that you're losing.

If Durant exercises his option, they don't have anywhere near enough money to offer Thompson a max deal.
