OMFG WE GOT HIM!?!?!?! I THOUGHT HE WAS ALREADY TAKEN!? OMFOFMFMFMFFFFFF

A+ grade all the way. Holy shit this is amazing. I seriously thought he was already off the board. This is an amazing pick. Our offense is set for another 3+ years! HOLY SHIT!

Now the only downside is I'll have to learn to pronounce Olusegun Oluwatimi swift and quickly...

FUCK YES LETS GO!!!!!

Love this pick at this point. He had a GREAT year this year. I was surprised that he was ranked so low. He was the best lineman on a good Wolverines line.

On paper the OL looks to be in good shape this season. Now the Seahawks need to get a ILB.

Our offense is literally set for the next 3 years, well maybe minus QB - but Jesus Christ... every single upcoming college QB should be salivating at the thought of playing for Seattle. Good fuckin' Lord.

Two young OTs who played above average last year, you've got a DECENT interior line crew with AMAZING depth, you have a pretty decent 3 TE set, you have possibly the best WR core in the league that's not leaving anytime soon (granted Lockett may leave after 2023-24 season), and a GREAT backfield... along with a great offensive minded coordinator who has clearly been given free reign to draft players that fit his scheme.

We can literally go the entirety of next years draft (which we have an extra 3rd for thanks to the Broncos) without drafting a single offensive player - maybe with exception of QB/TE and we're 100% fine.

Now our D does still need some work... but how this draft has gone, I have to imagine Waldron is starting to call the shots, which means he's our next head coach. And 100% fine with that.

Not sure I'm following what your post meant Fudge or if you're being sarcastic, but our interior linebacker crew and line is far from badass on defense.

I wasn't.

Getting Young/hall/Morris gives us a really good core to go with Taylor

We don't need to worry about LB, this year. We can address ILB when the time comes

I like our defense and I think we are on the same level as our offense

Hmm, I think our offense projects vastly better than our defense.

The OL is FAR better than our DL.
The runningbacks/TEs are FAR better than our linebackers can keep up with.
Our secondary and WR group I'd say is 1/1 but Witherspoon is unproven (despite being a top 5 pick) so let's not get too high and mighty there.

Offense should be electric. If we're not scoring 25+ points a game in the first few games to start the season and there's not major injuries, I'll be heavily concerned.

Point being, I would bet on Seattle's offense dominating Seattle's defense in a 1/1 matchup every time at this point.

In the 6th we could take a ILB or S with the thought to convert to an in box player. Then another DT in the 7th for depth. Otherwise get some special team standout guys

lol @ shark. From we are doomed yesterday, to LFG!!!!

Keep that passion alive bro

Oh I still hate the Witherspoon pick... F GRADE!

As for the Jaxon pick, I mean I could swallow it... it was okay, we did have a major need after Lockett/Metcalf (and Lockett was injured).

Hall was okay, just that... okay. If they convert him to ILB I'll be happier about it. I really liked the Charbonnet pick as I have concerns about Walker staying healthy and a 3rd down VIABLE option (Homer [who I know is gone] and Dallas are potatoes, I'm so sorry - they aren't scaring anyone when they come in - might as well be a free play off for the defensive player having to 'check' them).

Picks today have been FANTASTIC. Loving it.

Was I ranting that hard yesterday with our 2nd round picks? Jesus... well I started drinking early. I know I lost it on Thursday...

Grading Witherspoon as an F is kinda ridiculous.

Who did you want them to take? Let's assume that Carter was a no go for them. Who else should they have taken at that spot?

The truth of the matter is that there just weren't a lot of good front 6 guys to take at 5. Anderson was gone. They didn't want Carter. Wilson has a bunch of question marks. They tried to trade down and couldn't. So I don't see who they could have taken that would been dramatically better.

The RB pick didn't faze me at all because I fully expected that on day 2 and said it a few times in here. I like today's trenches picks, though I don't know much at all about any of the players. I am a bit surprised that QB Max Duggan is still out there, but clearly I valued him a bit more than the people who do this stuff for a living. Would be awesome to take a swing with him with one of these final picks or maybe even bring him in as a UDFA if the whole league passes him up.

A bit odd seeing zero UW or WSU players off the board yet (I think).

Daiyan Henley. 3rd round. But that's it.

Well I think they wanted to trade down once Witherspoon was gone... which was quite obvious by the clock ticking down. Maybe I'm grading it too harshly... Carter/Wilson, etc. were there, but maybe Seattle's FO didn't like Carter's attitude or some injury concerns with Wilson (although Witherspoon had injury concerns).

I dunno, after sleeping on it a couple days, maybe I went a bit too harsh with my F grade... but I have to stand by that cause that's what I said...

As some others have said, we got the best WR and CB in the draft.. those are two positions which favor the league that the NFL has become (passing -hell even Zach in round 2 is a very good pass blocking and pass receiving RB) so I have to humbly nod and go with it.

Daiyan Henley. 3rd round. But that's it.

Yah, still would've been a reach. I'd rather just have the extra depth for Walker. If Walker gets injured, Charbonnet can start and defenses still have to account for him. Homer (who I know is gone), Dallas, and basically everyone else we have locked up is not going to scare or force a coordinator to take that into account. It's basically, "K so now we're 100% just playing against the pass." Charbonnet being there doesn't allow an opposing DC to do that.

And he's not a backup, I expect a pretty heavy mix of Walker/Charbonnet on plays and on 3rd down passing plays Charbonnet will guaranteed be in. And you can't play him like a 3rd down back.. he can block and receive, but he can still run the ball effectively to the outside... it's not an easy thing for the defense to accommodate. You can't sell out on the pass like you could with Homer or Dallas (neither could run the ball on 3rd down situations for shit).

If we can stop the run, and get them to 3rd and long ,they gonna have to throw. Not gonna be easy with two shut down corners and Bobby lurking in the middle. Im happy....
