Zach isn't a bad pick on it's own but drafting backups in the 2nd is a strange move.
It's not a backup... I expect him to get 25-30 snaps a game (about 40% of the workload).

Yeah, we had a drafted rb in the 7th round a decade or so ago that had a really good career. They are there, and maybe we still draft a rb in the 7th. You can never have too much depth there.Believe me I get that but we're needing a backup and there's always plenty to choose from in round 4 and later. It's a wasted pick. Chiefs RB was a 7th rounder.

Bush, Wagner, and Brooks are already on the roster, and if we're planning on a 4-3 base, then I really don't see that position as a need at allStill need another ILB too unless the plan is to convert Hall to ILB. He probably can do it. He's a natural leader and team Captain from what I read.

He's not the starter. Of course he will get lots of snaps. Most backups, outside of QB, K, and P, get lots of snaps.

because they have an upside down drafting philosophy:I still dislike the Chabounet pick.
If we needed depth at RB. Why would not take a RB today, instead of yesterday?
Could have been better suited elsewhere....
it was a reach when they took him, and losing him made no significant difference to the defense. he is average at best, definitely NOT worth $12mDidn't he finish one season with the second most tackles in the nfl?

the overly optimistic timeline is that Brooks could even br back by the start of the season, but i would expect him to be back with plenty of the season left. Plus he would then be more fresh for a possible playoff push.
TEAMS win championships. We had the #1 defense 4 straight years and did not win 4 straight championships.DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS! Even though the modern NFL works really hard to make that a thing of the past …
I think he lacks athleticism, seems like a sure tackler and a smart player though. so we probably dont have him on our board. There has to be a major red flag with Henry To'oTo'o for him to still be on the board right?
