In our defensive scheme, the LEO (Dee Ford) is geared for the most sacks. The Big End can get sacks, but that isn't really his main role like the LEO. Although Bosa can still win defensive rookie of the year, should he be the favorite?

Definitely a positive that Wisnowsky can also kick-off, but even if he didn't we wouldn't use another roster spot? The PK would do it.

Yes, the more you read about him, the more you realize why Lynch was 'anxious'. Wishnowski isn't just 'any ol punter' cause it appears he can do everything well? Earlier i read he as a top Punter last 3 years, showing his consistency. Nationwide, seems that is how pundits are viewing him....."any ol Punter".

For we fans, easy to say wait a Round or trade down lower, but Punter was a Need and no time to get cute. Not totally happy, but feel much better than on Saturday.

i realize this is only a highlight clip, but notice how many different things he can do? Also, he doesn't get jammed at the LOS, so why can't he be outside too?

Someone didn't like this pick on draft day, but i highly suspect it was only due to his height? To me, if you can get open fast, make the catch even in close quarters, then thats a solid start.

That would be a shame, and I'd be disappointed, if they wasted Bosa like that. They said their biggest need was Edge Rusher and that that is the reason they drafted him. So I hope he gets the spot whose main goal is rushing the passer. Otherwise it just shows the 49ers leadership does not know what it is doing.

Bosa is clearly best at big end because he can kick inside and take on guards if you want to scheme dudes. Ford is the so-called Leo, and that's simply how it should be....period.

Yes, Bosa fits nicely at Big End and i wouldn't move him to LEO.

Bosa will get his sacks, just that Ford should get more. That article is saying Bosa is a rookie of the year candidate and i'm wondering if he'll get enough sacks to win? He'll need sacks more than tackles cause sacks deserves more credit. But this doesn't mean he isn't good for our D or didn't have a good year. I was just addressing "favorite to win Rookie of the Year".

The strengths and weaknesses of Jalen Hurd

Good stuff as he'll be a weapon in almost any kind of situation. It does show he can catch and run in the RZ, but he can also run all kinds of short/mid routes.

Not getting ahead of him and expecting Pro Bowl stats. Nor expecting him to get a lot of touches for that matter, however do expect he'll help THIS season.

Wouldn't helping on the O-line also help in the red zone. They added four players to "help" in the red zone but at least three in Samuels, Hurd, and Matthews. They should have added an OG instead of one of the three they added.

Again, you have four areas of concern and you have to decide which ones to address FIRST? You don't have four 1st round picks so you make a decision. Looked at this way, i agree you address pass rush first, and RZ second. These two areas are more priority than secondary and interior O-line.

I'm not defending the fact we didn't help the O-line, i'm saying you have to decide what to address first. Easy to complain but also easier said than done. You are better off explaining how you'd do it instead, not keep on complaining.

I agree a 4th rounder on a Punter isn't good value, but we didn't have a Punter. Do you draft a back-up OG in Round 4, or draft the best Punter prospect by a wide margin?

Ok but if I'm willing to admit that than you must be willing to admit you are incorrect about them not belong able to address the o-line this offseason. Four or five rookie o-linemen were drafted after the 49ers picked in the third round. They also could have addressed it through free agency so to say well they couldn't do it all is in fact wrong, they could have but didn't. They failed to manipulate the draft and didn't fill as many needs as they could have put the rose colored glasses down. Is that a complaint enough for you?

Yep, our WR corps was simply bad last season and all we have to remember is that it was led by Bourne. Bourne was only at about 500 yards for the season.

Deebo will help almost right away, all over the field.

The poor WR play would have hurt more if Kittle hadn't played so well.
