Oh, yeah, the suspension, I forgot about that. Now I'm REALLY curious...since he retired and now has UNretired, does the 100 game clock start ticking now, or will they count the games he missed post-retirement? If it's the first option, then sheesh, he really effed up because that would mean he's out until well into next season.
I would guess that it counts starting now since he is on the restricted list. What I don't know if how the reserve list works (@MarcoPolo ). Since he is technically still part of the organization, does the games he miss still count or is it because he retired, those games don't count but the org still has control over his rights?

Talking out of my ass here...

When ARod was suspended, the clock still ran on his contract, he just was not paid. I would assume the same would apply to Chuckie and his service time. He is unable to play, but his service time (SF control) still runs as normal.

Andrew Suarez (W, 6-6) with his 7th consecutive QS: 6 IP, 7 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K

His ERA has gone from 6.53 to 4.19. While 4.19 is not stellar, the trend is in the right direction.

Grant Watson pitched a solid game: 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K lowering his ERA to 4.30

After a 20 game hitting streak, Steven Duggar is now on a 3 game hitting streak.

Sacramento (Off)

Richmond (48-69) WON 7-2

Steven Duggar 1-4 (.321), BB, 2 R

Chris Shaw 1-4 (.235), 2B, 1 R
Tyler Horan 2-4 (.249), 2B, RBI,
C.J Hinojosa 1-4 (.262), 2 RBI

Andrew Suarez (W, 6-6) 6.0-7-1-1-1-5-91 (4.19 ERA). Good stuff from Suarez. Seems to have found his footing in AA. Last 7 starts: 46.2 IP, 40 H, 11 ER (2.11 ERA), 9 BB, 43 Ks.
Josh Osich 0.2-1-1-1-1-2-18 (18.00 ERA)

Rando Moreno 2-4 (.184), 2B
Dylan Davis 1-2 (.289), HR (10th in CAL, 18th overall), 2 RBI, 2 BB, 1 R
Miguel Gomez 1-4 (.238), 2B, 2 RBI

Dan Slania (W, 2-0) 6.0-5-2-0-1-2-96 (1.38 ERA). Didn't have great stuff today, and his defense let him down with 4 errors and at least one missed catch in the OF that didn't count as an error.
D.J. Snelten 1.0-1-0-0-0-1 (4.26 ERA). The move to the Pen has really seemed to help Snelten. In 20.2 IP, 15 H, 3 ER (1.31 ERA), 5 BB, 17 K.

Augusta (65-51) WALKED-OFF 3-2 in 10 innings. Winning streak at 5

Dillon Dobson 2-5 (.275), 2 2B, 1 R
Skyler Ewing 1-5 (.241), Walk-off single, 1 RBI

Grant Watson 5.0-2-2-0-1-5-64 (that's it?) (4.30 ERA). Real short outing, not sure why he came out so early.
Connor Kaden 4.0-4-0-0-0-4-39 (31 for strikes!) (3.75 ERA).

Salem-Keizer (22-30) lost 7-4

Bryan Reynolds 0-4 (.317), 3 Ks, 1 R

Gustavo Cabrera 3-4 (.250), 2B

Garrett Williams 5.0-4-1-1-1-7-72 (2.53 ERA). Very nice start from the 7th rounder.

DSL Giants (34-24) WALKED-OFF 2-1 in 9th

Box Score: DSL Rojos vs. DSL Giants - August 11, 2016 | MiLB.com Box | The Official Site of Minor League Baseball

AZL Giants (18-20) still tied 5-5 in 14th (didn't know they played on in the AZL)

Box Score: AZL Giants vs. AZL Angels - August 11, 2016 | MiLB.com Box | The Official Site of Minor League Baseball

Pretty funny; 3rd baseman Nathanel Javier pitched the 13th inning for the Giants. I wondered if Drabeck would pitch in this game, but he was unfortunately replaced earlier in the game. Would have been a nice opportunity for him.

Shaw is more than back, he is better than he was when he was destroying the California League.

At this point, you gotta think he will start next year in Sacto so he can pad his numbers and increase his trade-value. Unless he is packaged this off season to bring in a legit OF bat.

Nearly a two week road trip for SAC meant little for me to do. But they were back in town tonight, will hopefully (didn't work out last time) have a scheduled interview with Joan Gregorio on Sunday.

After that, want to try and inmediately line up an interview with Gorkys/Ty Blach/Schroder

Parker hit his 15th HR in AAA tonight, just cleared the left-field wall but he didn't get all of it either.

Suarez....whew. Career-best 11 strikeouts, all swinging.

Depending on who that "legit OF bat" is, I think I'd prefer Shaw or Belt moved to the outfield and keep both.

That is certainly an option. I would assume Belt would be moved, but either way, we would. E fr a king a defensive hit.

After originally being ruled an error and finishing 0-4, Mejia's 3rd AB was changed to a hit after the game. So, the streak is alive at 50. Will post video if it surfaces.

Mejia is now five games away from matching a 55-game hit streak by a player with the last name Mejias.

Rodolfo Martinez 0.1-3-3-3-1-0-30 (7.31 ERA). He has not been good in AA. Not sure why. He threw 30 pitches to get 1 out.

San Jose (61-58) lost 16-2

Dylan Davis (12th, 20th overall) and Jonah Arenado (13th) homered back-to-back in the 1st. Davis has a homer in 3 straight. Besides that? Nope. Christian Paulino (the INFer/OFer) came in to pitch and got shelled for 6 runs. Soptic (the actual "pitcher") relieved him and gave up a grand slam. I don't know why Soptic is still around. Dude just throws batting practice out there.
