Yep he needs to be locked in a room. After being talked out of JF last year, he was hell bent on making the sexy pick this year. Next draft we are going to need all new corners. Carr and claiburn are on one year deals. Great

I mean, I can't be mad at Elliot being a Cowboy, I really can't. Elliot is going to be a monster - especially behind this Oline. I just think Ramsey is going to be just as special, and filled a greater need.

You don't think secondary was a greater need than running back? okay... I mean no offense, I respect your opinion on most matters, but I just don't see the logic in this pick with Ramsey available. I'm happy Elliot is a Cowboy, I think he is going to crush it here. I feel Ramsey is going to be great, too. Dallas' backfield was not an area of concern, the secondary is.

On my part, it's probably reactionary thinking, but the pick goes against what I deem to be good logic - and Jerry has been known to defy logic.

I was surprised and let out a big "Fuck" because I wanted Ramsey and thought he was ours. But the scouts weren't going to allow the brain trust to take EE unless they were close or EE was actually rated higher. It's crazy how much I heard about teams loving Elliott in the last couple of days. He would not have gotten past the Giants and from what I heard they might have looked at trading up to get him if he dropped a little and there was talk everywhere about Miami trading up to 3 to grab him in front of us

I have no doubt Elliot is going to be a great player, and in the long run be looked at as a successful draft pick. But damn I wanted Ramsey. Elliot has the makings of a 3 down 1500 yard back, and I'm really excited about that. The offense is going to be potent!
