Does Aaron Rodgers know he is washed?

After reading today about how the Vikings are moving forward with JJ McCarthy, it got me to thinking. Is Rodgers looking to get a backup position on a team knowing that he is washed? Was he trying to get an offer from the Vikings so he can suit up for another season without having to actually play? He has teams wanting to sign him but it seems like he is stalling unreasonably.

If I were a Steelers fan right now I'd be pissed at this stupid waiting game.

He was still playing ok with the Jets, but he’s near the end, time to hang um up… He’s had a good career overall …

Maybe he's just waiting to see which contender gets a QB injury

I can't say i blame him for not wanting to go to the Steelers. Going to a division with a Jackson and Burrow in a conference where , at best, you'd be on the 7th or 8th best team doesn't seem that attractive

I think he probably just waits and sees what happens. My best guess is he doesn't want any of the current options or he'd already be there

Maybe a team with legit title aspirations gets an injury. Or maybe he just doesn't want to play anymore
