After reading today about how the Vikings are moving forward with JJ McCarthy, it got me to thinking. Is Rodgers looking to get a backup position on a team knowing that he is washed? Was he trying to get an offer from the Vikings so he can suit up for another season without having to actually play? He has teams wanting to sign him but it seems like he is stalling unreasonably.

If I were a Steelers fan right now I'd be pissed at this stupid waiting game.

His narcissistic ego is getting the better of himself.

Funny his video sums up the whole Rodgers situation --> The Packers were the ultimate winners here.

He wants NFL teams to know he is the one in control in these situations. Most of the time players don't have much control and also by this point usually most cap space has dried up so only bargain shopping happens. With a lack of great FA players there is still a decent level of cap space out there giving him the element of time at this point.

Now there will be a point though that teams will tire of waiting and have to make some major decisions. So I would say he has a week before NFL teams say enough is enough.

Kinda funny that Russ is getting caught up in all of this as well because he probably is chomping at the bit to get an offer and sign it, but everyone is waiting for the Rodgers fallout first.

This will now be the second time he has played 2nd fiddle to Rodgers. Broncos first tried to trade for Rodgers, but when that fell through decided to go to plan B with Wilson. Here we are once again seeing the same thing happen.

Probably sees the receiving talent in minny, coupled with their success last year. Plus theyre in the packers division. Gives him a chance to one up them. Egomaniac

Anybody looking to draft a young, moldable QB should avoid adding Rodgers

They probably should avoid this draft too. Not too many projecting to be worth a first round pick. Maybe 3, and that's if you squint pretty hard.

Some teams. I think the Giants and Steelers are still very interested.

They need to stay away.

The only way the Giants do it is to keep NY media happy
