Back in late September, it seemed there was a good deal of strife in the ownership camp - it was large market owners vs small market owners vs the players. Then as things progressed, it was the budget hawk owenrs vs the other owners vs the players. Now it the owners vs the players vs the PA

This will not end until you get union leadership givning the players the facts instead of their spin on them.

Thanks puck, One HUGE thing the NHL players have is guaranteed contracts so maybe the owners should give them the split they want and pull that out of the CBA.

I don't think the NFL, MLB or NBA players have them and that's a HUGE benefit.

Can confirm that NHLPA has indeed requested the return of Federal Mediators to the process. Needless to say,NHL has yet to agree.
