yes, because the legends like john friesz, mike occonnell, mike bishop and a litany of others are throwing fruit at you. It's the system. Plug in any RB and he will be a star.
Just like the QB position.
who the hell does that?Lewis getting hurt at some point was inevitable. Dude just isn't built to handle this league.
After the 1st game and seeing what he was capable of, the Pat's should have been sitting on him until the playoffs and tried to get as much out of him when it actually mattered.

thats fucking nuts
Agreed. So sad for himthats fucking nuts
This kid was something they never had, though. He was a big step up from guys like Vereen and K. Faulk. And both of those guys were great for the Pats.
sucks, kid was a heck of a story. "what could have been" may be his motto.
who the hell does that?
Who has ever had a weapon like Lewis that everyone knew couldn't survive a season?
With his size, his injury history and the way he runs, it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that he is done for the season by week 8.
Of course they could have saved him and for all we know he blows out his knee in practice before he even gets there. .
again, i ask...who does that?Who has ever had a weapon like Lewis that everyone knew couldn't survive a season?
