It's correctable to not throw a ball you field towards the hole to third on a one hop to your second baseman?

His bat has to be ++++ to justify him playing short......and I don't buy the he will learn how to play good defense at the major league level when he sucked at it in the minors......He didn't want to learn how to correct those mistakes at Reno???

It definitely is. 100% because you are talking about his first game.

And like Orange said. They said Goldy was going to be one of the worst defensive first basemen in the game. Even though his errors were correctable as well.

Owings doesn't have the elite range or arm to consistently play SS. He will likely be a 2B in the bigs.

Next seasons bench to start the season will likely be Pollack, Campana, Pennington, Nieves, & one of Chavez/Davidson/Owings. Chavez & Nieves should be resigned. And that is assuming Ross is able to start the season on time. So it will be like likely that both Davidson & Owings begin 2014 in Reno, but will be the first guys called up for injury replacements or ineffectiveness of Campana/Penningon.
