But that's just it.....what's more important? I honestly don't see Owings bringing enough with the bat to be better then a no hit Gregorious, so I'll go with the better defender at a premier defensive spot....

Still too early to tell IMO. Didi had some good moments but he by no means took control of the SS position. Owings had a dream season this year in the minors. If he is going to develop like this he is going to take that spot from Didi. Both are still to young to know whats going to happen and I wouldn't be surprised if they moved one.

People are greatly underestimating Owings' D. He makes some errors but they are very correctable errors.

Lol very true. Another trade possibility is Hill as much as I would hate that, because I have a man crush on him. Its scary to think how many big decisions this front office faces considering I don't really trust them.

I don't know if they will keep that many. I could see it, but they might want to keep more relievers this year, considering they kept 5 outfielders at the cost of a reliever this year, and they didn't pitch so well.

It's correctable to not throw a ball you field towards the hole to third on a one hop to your second baseman?

His bat has to be ++++ to justify him playing short......and I don't buy the he will learn how to play good defense at the major league level when he sucked at it in the minors......He didn't want to learn how to correct those mistakes at Reno???

I'm not critical of his minor league stats, I'm critical of what I've seen with my eyes.....he does not look comfortable at all at short.....it's a small sample size for sure, but he is gonna have to make some great strides for sure on his defensive game.....
