couldnt stand this show.....what a fucking bore of a serial killer. stopped watching during season 2.

I couldn't get past the pilot when I tried watching it a few years back. It was boring to me.

i'll usually give something a fighting chance, but yeah i never found it really exciting either. And i forgot how much i hated that lila chick. I think that pushed me over the edge in regards to finding something else to do with my time.

Yeah i'll see, currently have way too many shows i'm watching now. Some i'm even 2-3 episodes behind on my DVR because i'm so busy with work and shit.

As do I, usually 3 episodes and if i'm bored, i'm done. Tried watching this and 35 minutes in, I was bored and it lost my attention.

Definitely differen't, because that is the exact opposite for me. I was glued to SOA from the 1st episode. Took me a while to accept Dexter as a show to watch

Never got into SOA either. I hear many people saying Dexter isn't as good as something like Breaking Bad but Dexter has a lot more moving parts to it. Walter White pretty much focused solely on his business, where Dexter has to juggle being a serial killer with his family as well as his job. I feel like it's a much more difficult show to make, and while I feel the writers cut corners at times, I have yet to watch an episode of Dexter that I don't like.

Dexter was, IMHO, the best show on TV for it's first 2 seasons. S3 and later was just good TV.

Seasons 6 and 7 (?? - the ones with Julia Stiles and Colin Hanks) were pretty scatter-brained). Watchable, but sooo filled with holes that the show belonged nowhere near a top-10 list.

The last season was better than a lot of people said, but the absolute ending was a bit meh for me. They should have ended it 5 minutes earlier.

I'm on the 4th season and have thoroughly enjoyed the show thus far. I'm glad Lila and Miguel were given ocean naps. Couldn't stand either of them.

Should I bother watching seasons 7 and 8? I didn't enjoy season 5 at all and season 6 got bad towards the end.
