God, I hated Lila.
I think the only Dexter lady I genuinely liked was Hannah. And it took me a second.

I'm in the middle of season 4. They telegraphed an "ominous harbinger" when Dex saved dude from jumping to his death (I won't name names, in the interest of spoiler prevention).
I liked this show... Definitely wasn't better than SOA or Breaking Bad. But the way they ended it in season 8 pretty much ruined it for me.
SOA imo best show on TV since the Wire. I never watched Breaking Bad until the week of the finale then spent all week catching up on past episodes. I liked it but not as much as those two. Haven't had a chance to get into Dexter yet.
Lila fucking sucked. Possibly the most annoying character I have ever seen in a tv show. And I have seen a lot of shows.
I liked her. She was the first one that was OK with him being a serial killer.
Halfway through the second season and I'm addicted. I hear a lot of differing opinions. Some people I know love all 8 seasons. I'm hoping I'm one of them because I love it so far.
SPOILER ALERT: Dexter kills someone in season 6.
I got too distracted to continue watching when I found out Dexter was boning Deb (his character's sister) in real life.
Whhhhaaa? For real?
...This changes everything
Really, boning a costar in a tv show in real life, who is not your sister in either world changes the perception of the show?
