I am going to the Devils prospect game/practice July 18th. This is the most talent the Devils have had in the system in close to a decade. We've had 1 or 2 guys at a time but this year there are 7 or 8 that I'm excited about.

lol - That's the exact opposite of old school, old school would be McDavid trying to line up Virtanen with a clean check.

No. Old school protected stars from getting hit like that. I'm not big on fights or scrums on clean hits however.. I think that's a current issue in the game.

I guess I'm old old school, I'm referring to Gordie Howe and Maurice Richard old school.

I suppose. I was more so talking about how Steve Yzerman being smashed would lead to Bob Probert doing damage. Same thing with guys like Nick Lidstrom. The Sedin twins really needed this during their peak as well.
