tMAC News.... :)

Former Central Michigan star (from Homer, Mi), Josh Collmenter, has been released by the Braves. I see some solid PR if the Tigers sign him and send him to Toledo...or better yet, the Whitecaps?....

Look out Buck Farmer....LOL

Jose Iglesias...3 hits, including a homer on Wednesday. TRADE HIM NOW...while his value is high! Save money. Just get one decent prospect for him...someone who might help the team next year or even the year after.

Off to check the Toledo White Pages...
I guess that shitbag team you root for is coming to the neighborhood tomorrow. Now that's it's beyond evident the White Sox' season is over, I should probably begin honing my running onto the field skills. I am going tomorrow, but not for all of the straight double header.

You'll get to see the Tigers 6th starter tomorrow.

Buck Farmer.

Who will be looking to keep his career ERA as a starter below 10.00. Should be a dual for the ages against Tyler Danish. Don't miss out on Game 2.

I'll be watching for a streaker.

Ah yes, Tyler Danish. Rising star said no one ever.

I thought Verlander had a shot at giving the Tigers a split with the Astros.

Poor C-Mo, I thought I saw a tear in his eye after the game. Another season down the drain. But, as school gets out , 10's of thousands will still go to CoAmerica to watch this LESS THAN average team.:gaah:

The clutch hitting and baserunning sucked. That said, yeah, 6 runs SHOULD be enough to win a game that Verlander starts. He's starting to alternate good and suckass starts, which is not what you want from a supposed 'ace'.

I know fans want their team to win their division - even if their record is less than spectacular. But, IMO, the worst scenario for Detroit, this year, would be to have the current AL Central standings be pretty much the same come the middle/end of July. (Detroit sitting around .500 but within 4-5 games of first.) Detroit's front office then makes the decision to "go for it" and keeps the team intact and tries to win a weak Central division.
Again....and it sounds negative....it would be in Detroit's best interest if the Tribe found last years magic and took charge of the division by the All-Star break. Give the Tigers a head start in breaking up this old and flawed team for next year and beyond.
