Gotta blame general management and ownership for both Krud and Annibelle being on the active roster.

100% agree. You can't have two big liabilities like that on the roster, no matter what you are paying them. At some point, you will have to use them at a crucial time in a game. It's inevitable with only 7 RPs.

Fulmer was not at his best (10 hits), but he gave the team 7 innings when the bullpen badly needed a break. Gutsy performance.

Starting pitcher: RHP Jordan Zimmermann

DETROIT -- Miguel Cabrera suffered a strained oblique during batting practice on Wednesday and will miss two or three days, Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said.

Cabrera was scratched from the starting lineup 30 minutes before Wednesday night's game against the Baltimore Orioles.


Ausmus said he was diagnosed with a Grade 1 oblique strain, the mildest type of strain.
