Here is something for you to think about... Verlander post all star break... 2.43 era with 53 k in 55 innings....
Scherzer 5.08 era with 51 k in 39 innings...

Don't be surprised if Verlander has a better statistical year next year than Scherzer.... Verlander has the better overall arsenal. Scherzer is going to fall off a cliff as soon as his velocity drops.. and it is dropping as the season goes on... he is getting rocked as I type this.

Max's velocity has improved every year over the last 3 seasons, good gawd. How Tigers fans believe your crap is beyond me. I get it, you BS to the upside of Tigers players and BS to the down side of any non Tigers players.

Wonder if the norm will happen.. Farmer will go 4 or 5 innings strong.. the hitters will make adjustments.. he won't.... and he will get teed off on in the 5th/6th inning... the kid has good stuff.. just can't seem to go more than 2 times through the order before they figure him out...

was completely wrong.. couldn't even get through the lineup once... grant it the blue jays lineup is tough.. but not impressed... Farmer needs to go to the pen also.

This teams play over the course of the season and more importantly since the all-star is absolutely horrifying.

Miggy, JV, JD and Kinsler are the only positives to even consider watching this team for the remainder of the season.
