We could see the return of Kyle Lobstein he has been promoted to the Mud Hens.....

I would be surprised if Lobstein is recalled if Boyd pitches well. I think the only way Lobstein comes back this year is if Boyd struggles or if he goes to the bullpen. Maybe Boyd gets moved to the bullpen and Gorzelanny is DFA'd... Lobstein has struggled so far in his rehab anyways... He got lit up last night.

McCann has actually caught quite a bit lately... him getting a day off isn't a bad idea. Next year its almost guaranteed to be McCann and Holiday.

Sorry, there is no hope of a WC. The Tigers are mathematically alive, but with this current pitching staff, their chances are the same as Blutarsky's GPA...zero-point-zero.

I live in a world where I see the Tigers beating the Blue Jays in the wild card game..... after that everything is just gravy..... just having some fun I got some tickets to Tiger games in the middle of September I still have to have hope....

All the chatter is about Ausmus not walking Altuve. I accept his explanation that if he does, the Astros probably pinch-hit Tucker, a lefty who has killed us.

The bigger problem is letting Gorzelanny face three right-handed batters in a row when righties are hitting .360 against him. You got lucky on the first two, then the inevitable -- he gives up a triple to a .225 hitter. I wouldn't have Gorzelanny facing ANY major league hitter "if you want to win".

Im trying to figure out why guys like Gorzelanny, Josh Zeid, and Marc Krauss are still on the Tigers 40 man roster. There are guys deserving of spots like Joe Mantiply and Guido Knudsen. If they don't call up Knudsen in Sept.. but they do call up a scrub like Krol.. It is the same old Tigers... They have guys on the farm that are better than Feliz and Gorzelanny. For what ever reason they don't even try them.

I would just love to know why the Tigers keep guys in the upper minors that will never be MLB players around. Hessman is one thing.. but they do it to much... Guys like Zeid, Kraus, Thad Weber, Rafael Dolis, Josh Wilson... they are taking up spaces from guys that should be moving up the ranks. There are pitchers that should be in Toledo before the fart faces I listed... Kraus shouldn't be on the 40 man... let alone the Mud Hens.. Why they don't have one of the 1st base prospects there instead that have a chance of one day being decent...

The mentality of the Tigers in regards to prospect development is retarded... It makes no sense. Guys are sitting at levels they could clearly move up from... but are held up because some burnout is holding a roster spot in the level above them.
