Call up Kyle Ryan... DFA Gorzelanny... Tigers could use the remaining games to see what they have for next year and what they need to replace... Keep Ryan in the bullpen... He was solid there last year.

Tigers need to make one more trade... Send Rajai Davis out for a low level prospect... and let Collins man LF. He has been pretty good there... they need to see if he can handle it for next year or not.

If the Tigers fill LF in house and can get a quality starter for less than 10 mil... they have a TON of money to play with for a top end starter... There is nobody to spend money on in the bullpen. The only way they are solving that is in house or through trades...

This offseason is going to be very interesting... after the 2016 season the Tigers won't be major free agent players, so this will probably be their last big splurge until 2017 when a handful of contracts come off the books again.

Fulmer not ready yet... No reason to rush him. 16 mil doesn't get you what it used to. In all honesty... If Sanchez puts together one more decent year they basically got their money's worth compared to other deals out there in the MLB. What would you rather have... Sanchez at 16 mil for the next 2 years... or porcello at 20 mil for the next 4? lol

Lordy, I just looked up Porcello's stats to see if he's gotten any better. He's gotten worse since I last checked! ERA now pushing 6.00 (5.81), and his HR rate (1.6/9) is the worst of his career. Ground ball rate way down, too.

Porcello will not play out his contract in Boston... I bet DD trades him as soon as his trade value even remotely improves. Curious to see if DD can improve Boston's bullpen or if he will still have issues there too... How many prospects do you think he is going to trade away this offseason... LOL.. its guaranteed he is going to trade away prospects.. and Boston is loaded... its just a matter of how many he unloads to get some starters over there. Should be fun to watch.
