Kyle Ryan isn't ever going to instill confidence as a starter... but he looks decent.. is only 23 years old... and has value at the very least as a bullpen arm. Between him, Norris, Krol and Boyd they have 4 interesting lefties that are 24 or younger with MLB experience.

He was never in the Tiger's top 30 on mlb.com... he is only 23 ( younger than Farmer)... and he has just as much of a chance of having a decent mlb career as Buck Farmer... Shows what stupid online prospect rankings are good for.

Tiger's just showed up to take their medicine today.. not a bad thing... need the losses to secure the best draft pick.

Just an FYI... Scouts are saying this years draft has 6-8 legit top end starters in it... along with a few decent position players.. If the Tigers stay in the #8 spot... there is a real good chance they end up with a really good arm for the farm system.
