Close to 100%.

He's been awful with the bullpen no doubt, but he won a division as a rookie and we weren't the only team looking at him.

He's 158-150 as a manager. His .513 winning percentage is better Leylands for his career.
Leylands sample size is a little bigger...

Waist-high cutter that didn't cut.

Any manager with a brain has a lefty come in... Ryan is getting a start.. so it would have had to be Hardy... but Hardy was available.

"Why, because of the reverse splits? That actually happened earlier in the year, where Wilson got the save, and I said at that time, and I'll say it again -- I understand the reverse splits, and if I had a lefty in there, I might leave him in there to face Perez," Ausmus said. "But I'm not bringing in a lefty to face Perez with the game on the line."

Direct Quote from Ausmus... this is why he needs to go... When you have a guy that hits .209 vs lefties with 4 HR and he hits .276 vs righties with 16 hr.... you send a lefty out there... it was the last out of the game Ausmus you fucking idiot... All you needed was one fucking out. Perez can't hit lefties.. why would you not bring in a lefty? He needs to be fired. Today.

Do was his post game sandwich.

I miss Leyland eating bologna sandwiches and spitting food out of his mouth when he was yelling at the reporters... The bologna that flew out of his mouth half chewed would make a better manager than Brad.

Here is a question... if Leyland is elected to the hall of fame.. does he go in as a Tiger... or as a Marlin?

Pirate.

Weird that it'd be the team he DIDNT take the WS, but that's what I'd think.

Not enough time with Detroit, since it was the end. But his plaque should mention starting and ending his baseball career with the Tigers.

8 yrs with Det... 11 with Pit... interesting to see... I think he certainly still has ties to Pit... so I tend to agree.

No it doesn't ... It's kinda really nothing. If you are so smart, why do you have $115 dollars left in your Bookie account?
How much is in my bookie account now? LOL Be careful using SportsHoopla money to judge one's sports intelligence.. I just took $115 and turned it into $1000 in about a week... just take a second and think about how much I made in real life with decision making like that...

I still have $20 on the Pirates to win later tonight too.. The payout for Pirates straight up was 2.80... lol worth the risk even if Kershaw is pitching.

MiamiVice has a pretty big ego. I played baseball at a pretty high level (low minors), the ones that made it to the majors weren't even playing the same game I was. I choose not to criticize managers and players, because I know how good they are (a shitload better than me). MiamiVice critics freely in an ominous sense. If he was that smart Illitch would hire him.
