Tigers have some young guys... All the talk about how shitty the tigers farm is.. but it keeps producing functioning mlb talent... they may not be future all stars... but Collins has already proved he can hold down LF if needed... and Machado looks good in his few games... If Moya can get a nice little run going too... it sure helps the tigers out a lot. This team is actually very young... people that compare it to the Phillies don't realize that outside of 4 or 5 guys... everyone is under 27.

after this series I hope the tigers lose every other game... i don't want to see them have an off year an not get one of the better arms in the draft. the 2016 draft is shaping up to be a real good one for pitching talent.. if the tigers stay in the top ten.. they are going to get a legit starting pitching prospect almost for sure.

I do have to admit... It would be nice though to see the Tigers sweep the Royals and be the reason they lose home field to the blue jays.

The royals are not looking very good... I think they are going to be a quick out unless they somehow ignite the fire they had last year again...

He should have given JV at least another batter. I might see pulling him if he struggled with the next guy and the winning run came to the plate. Goss was still hanging on the the wall when we started walking. I probably wouldn't have gotten far alone but my wife was done. It was a great game until then... been home an hour, wife's asleep and missed {this is where the doob smilie would be if I could find it} and the last 30 minutes of the game. she'll be surprised. she's been dogging "our later guys". they do suck and they sucked some tonight. at least I got to see it. JV is still JV and so is Cabrera... himself that is

I don't totally disagree with getting JV out, but why not before the 9th or why not get him for a Lefty.. Makes no goddamn sense in putting a righty in against Perez..

He's been awful with the bullpen no doubt, but he won a division as a rookie and we weren't the only team looking at him.
